Gallowglass has a rich history of quality PVP and PVE game play dating back to UO with some of its core members. The GG leadership has worked hard to help build our name in MMO gaming, a reputation that has been built on the beliefs that are held by the core and founding members of the guild.

Members of Gallowglass are expected to use their common sense, and where most people understand what this means we still rely on our guildmates and leadership to help keep each other in line when the shenanigans get out of hand. In a perfect world a Code of Conduct would not be needed, but we are all different people with different beliefs, personalities and definitely different senses of humor.
As GG grows some things need to be stated so that we are sure everyone is on the same page. If you EVER have an issue, have a question or a problem do not hesitate to contact your game leader or officers for your branch of GG. Don't ever hesitate to approach Molz, Tiggus or postman either.
Gallowglass was founded on the belief that in a multi gaming guild leadership should be accessible to all members of the guild without all of the elitist tough guy internet dictator guild leader crap.
In Game Conduct, PvE PvP
You are the face of Gallowglass. Your conduct in game in PVE or PVP gives other gamers a direct impression of what we are all about. Being a prick is a sure fire way to keep new members away. Being a prick is also not the kind of reputation we want to have. Gallowglass was founded on quality over quantity and being cocky about it does no one any good. If you have to feel like a tough guy/girl go to the bar and drink yourself under the table or log into TF2 and tough guy it up, leave it out of the game.
PVE: Do what you need to do, specific PVE rules will be on a game by game basis and laid out by the game leaders loot rules, raiding schedules, who goes and when.
PVP: Keep the shit talking to a minimum in game and on the forums. Its not always that easy but actions speak louder than words. Kill who you are going to kill and call it good.
If someone freaking out on you in game or posting a forum thread complaining about you or the guild because they received a good old fashion GG beat down leave it at that. Nerdrage means your doing your job as a pvper.
Forum Shenanigans
Post on games forums as you need to for information gathering/ game discussion, but when it comes to politics leave it to the game leaders and officer. Don’t post trash, don’t be a worthless troll. Nothing irritates leadership more than a crappy one line no thought worthless trolling. If you are going to be a dick, put some thought into it or don't post.
Botting, Hacking, Exploiting
Do not do it, it will not be tolerated. This needs to be stated again, do not do it, it will not be tolerated. If you can’t write it in a macro on a G15/11/13 then you don’t need to be doing it. Do not use third party botting and hacking software. You will be booted, no exceptions.
Respect
Respect your guildmates, they are your family, we all fight and die together in our respective games. Liberal use of racial slurs and bigotry will get you booted.
No Drama
If you have a problem that you cannot be handled among you and the other drama queen involved, talk to game leadership. Drama posts will be deleted from the forums and the chat box, and leadership is very heavy handed in this. Airing dirty laundry on games open forums will not be tolerated.
Politics, NAPs, Alliance Etiquette:
This is left to the discretion of the game leaders. In general do not use any type of alliance chat unless it has been cleared through the game leader. Alliance chats are not for chit chat, they serve a purpose so keep that in mind.
Trading Etiquette
Don’t trade kill, don’t rip people off. This is mostly up to the discretion of the game leader but don’t be a shady trader. If you jerk around guildmates in crafting and trading you will be spoken to or removed.
