Introduction

For those of you who don't what OnLive is, well google it you lazy bum.

So somewhere in the all the E3 news, I ran into a link to a sign up for an OnLive promotional deal where you would get a whole year free (free as in you don't pay the monthly fee, not free as in they give you the games too) so they could test the system. Like most people, I'm feeling pretty dubious about paying a monthly fee to get the privilege to buy games I'll lose if I ever stop paying, ...

So I finished downloading the xpac and logged in. When I log into my Assassin, I am greeted with the Alternate Advancement system. I have the option of spending points into about 30-40 different perks that are made available to my class. I also have the ability at level 80 to aquire these perks by selecting one and waiting 36 hours to learn it. Or by questing and gaining points to spend.

There are three colors of perks, Blue, Yellow, and Red. My perk bar allows me to make two of these ...

People come in and feed on little tidbits of information that are tossed to them by the CM, or a dev that thinks he can handle a forum full of rabid fanbois, or force fed bullshit by some strange looking PR guy that makes an ass out of himself every time he opens his mouth because he has never really played the game, but has an MBA and that's how he landed the job (not going to point and fingers or state any names /cougherlingellingsen)
